In the evening of the annual family gathering on 3rd August 2019, SONEUK also held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Gurkha Kitchen, Nottingham. Officially opened by General Secretary Umesh Parajuli, the session moved on to an annual report presented by Chairperson Shailendra Shrestha.
In his presentation, Chairperson Shrestha elaborated on the following topics:
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
EC meetings & Minutes of the 1st year (total 16)
Major Activities (International Conference, Talk Programme & Smarika publication)
Training in GIS
Projects under study (H&S) in Nepal
Assets Creation (Projector & new website design)
Expansion of External Affair & liaison committee members
Members expansion and record in GIS database
Interaction with Ex-QGE
Constitution Amendment
Financial Update (Income, expenditures & bank balance)
Future Events (Trainings, Talk programme, International Conference & MoU)
The presentation was followed by an Q/A session where the advisors, regional representative and general members of SONEUK actively participated by discussing various topics for the improvement of the organisation. The meeting concluded by General Secretary Parajuli’s announcing of the closure officially.
